Welcome
Welcome to the National Association of Writers and Groups. Whatever type of writing you do, we've got you covered.
We help to set up and run writing groups and provide support for individual writers.
Getting Started
There are many benefits of membership, so why not join up?
Are you in a writing group, or thinking of starting one? We can offer assistance, promotion, advice, and ideas. We can also connect you to a wide network of other writers and groups.
Looking to join a writing group near you? Have a look in our writing groups directory. We can get you in touch with the organisers.
On Board
We promote many writing competitions; a great way to improve your skills. Some we organise ourselves and some are handled by our writing groups and other friends. Why not have a look at our many competitions and have a go?
We also have many events throughout the year, including writing festivals, weekend retreats, courses and workshops, poetry readings, quizzes, open mic, and all sorts of fun activities. Come and join us, we're a friendly bunch.
