Description:

Some documents are not loading when attempting to display them. However, some seem to work fine. Examples given below.

This is quite serious because, for example, membership application forms cannot be displayed nor downloaded.

Resolution:

[21-Mar-2026 Kevin] Started investigating. The issue may be related to Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) policy.

[28-Mar-2026 Kevin] The problem seems to be related to temporary directories and files in "/var/lib/nginx/proxy/" having the wrong ownership: "www-data" rather than "nawg-sys". A hangover from before we changed the user account under which the NginX web server runs. Removing the old files and restarting the NginX service seems to have solved things.

[01-May-2026 Kevin] Tested remotely.

[10-May-2026 Kevin] Still working correctly in version P.13.1, so marking as resolved.
