When a transaction occurs in the shop, several people should be notified. For example:

• The Treasurer, for accounting purposes.
• Membership Secretary, so they know when subscriptions have been paid.
• Publications Officer, so they know when to fulfil orders.
• Competitions Organisers, so they know when entry fees have been paid.
• Events Coordinators, so they know when bookings have been made.
