Many of the things we want to do with the website will depend on the ability to restrict some areas to people who are logged in. Examples of this include:

• Individuals or groups wishing to use members only areas,
• Contributors wishing to submit articles or other content,
• Committee & staff carrying out administrative work.

For this to be possible, a number of things will need to be done, including:

• Developing a content privacy system in software,
• Creating and maintaining user accounts.

More details are given in the documentation for this project (not publicly available), but here is an approximate schedule. All dates are estimates and are subject to revision without notice.

[17-Jun-2016] Started documenting requirements.

[30-Jun-2016] Released draft 1 of requirements document to committee for feedback.

[18-Nov-2016] Released draft 2 of requirements document, along with project plan.

[13-Jan-2017] Prototype released with version 2.7.9 of the website.

[08-Aug-2017] Work suspended, due to lack of time and resource.
